Visualizations are another form of affirmations, that focus on visuals (pictures and moving images) as compared to words, to reprogram your subconscious mind. Visualizations work due to the strong emotions that visuals create, that help in attracting our desired outcomes to us.
How to Visualize
The power of visualization: The reason visualization is so powerful is because as you create pictures in your mind of seeing yourself with what it is you want, you are generating thoughts and feelings of having it now. Visualization is simply powerfully focused thought in pictures, and it causes equally powerful feelings. When you are visualizing, you are emitting that powerful frequency out into the Universe. The law of attraction will take hold of that powerful signal and return those pictures back to you, just as you saw them in your mind.
When you’re visualizing, when you’ve got that picture playing out in your mind, always and only dwell upon the end result.
When it feels like a jolt as you open your eyes in the physical world, your visualization became real. But that state, that plane, is the real. It is the field where everything is created, and the physical is just the result of the real field of all creation.
Vision Board: You can let your imagination go wild with a Vision Board, and place pictures of all the things you want, and pictures of how you want your life to be. Make sure you put the Vision Board in a place where you see it and look at it every day, Feel the feelings of having those things now. As you receive, and feel gratitude for receiving, you can remove pictures and add new ones.Rhonda Bryne – Author – The Secret / The Power / The Magic / Hero

Other concepts on Affirmations
Affirmations are simple statements that you repeat to yourself constantly until you get yourself (specifically your subconscious mind) to believe it. While affirmations are very powerful, it is important that they are done in the correct manner for the greatest impact.
The practice of Journaling (writing your thoughts into a diary on a daily basis) has been proven to be of tremendous value in helping you reach your goals, change behavior, clear your mind and deal with a range of negative issues. A simple daily habit, that can truly transform your life.
Everything, including ourselves, is energy. Being energy, we vibrate at a particular frequency, that is determined by our thoughts, feelings and emotions. This frequency attracts things (people, situations, results) that also operate at a similar frequency. By learning to control your energy, you can control what you attract to yourself.
The Law of Attraction is the belief that the universe creates and provides for you that which your thoughts are focused on. The Law of Attraction states our life is nothing but an outcome of what we have attracted to ourselves by our thoughts, and that to change our life we need to begin by changing our thoughts.
